In 2020, SoundCraft Audiobooks embarked on our most challenging project to date:  Creating a series of audiobooks celebrating the art of public speaking by recording some of history’s greatest speeches and then, to truly make these audiobooks unique, we set about crafting them to sound as if the listener was actually present when the speech was first delivered.

These unique and powerful orations – performed by some of the finest narrators in the business – are now available to everyone who enjoys moving oratory, soaring rhetoric and inspiring historical figures delivering some of their finest speeches. 

From the Ancient world to Biblical times, the American Revolution to the 20th Century, this project includes such disparate and varied speakers as Moses delivering the Ten Commandments to Nelson Mandela speaking from the witness stand; Benjamin Franklin addressing the Constitutional Convention to Susan B. Anthony opining on women’s rights; Muscogee Chief Speckled Snake rebuking the President of the United States to Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address.
